DeleteI used to, when I had a short-haired dog. I have a miniature schnauzer now, and the food would get stuck in his beard, yuck. I don't see the big deal, the dishes are on their way to getting clean.
ReplyDeleteI don't have a dog, so until I can find the Dog of my dreams, I just let my 3.5 year old do it! :P
ReplyDeleteYes, they're Yorkies and they have to jump to get onto the open door. It's the cutest thing!
ReplyDeleteIf I leave the door open while I'm loading the puppy will try,so I have to be careful. Now he just sits and watches. I would never allow any of my animals to go near our plates or cups and can't understand people who do. But that is their choice...

Mine would love too but they are too short (Yorkies). I think as long as you are disinfecting your dishes (ie the dishwasher) it's no big deal. I have let them like some empty plates and yogurt bowls (this is their fav).
